A Good Bar & Grill in the middle of the Finger Lakes The Fargo has a lot going for it, good menu, good looking place, great surroundings and every drink you may want on a lazy summer afternoon. There micro-brew menu is impressive. Both of us had sandwiches. Mine was made well, my partners was short on meat but tasty. Pricing was a little on the high side for the size of the sandwich but again, they were tasty. Service was spotty. That was a drawback. We will go again in the hopes the service improves.  - 8/06/2018

Great pub and great sandwiches! Three of us had lunch here and were delighted with our sandwiches! The Cajun chicken salad one was excellent as were the grilled cheese and roast pork, the latter both specials. The cup of tomato soup was thick and tasty and the side of cole slaw creamy and generous. My brother had one of the blackboard beers and we opted for NYS wines by the glass. Fun place to eat!  - 6/06/2018

Good Place for Tavern Fare We stopped here for lunch after visiting MacKensie-Childs because the Aurora Inn was closed at the time. Apparently MacKensie-Childs was founded in the basement of the Fargo Bar & Grill by a Wells College ceramics prof (MacKensie) and his wife (Childs) making pottery cups. The Fargo served tasty burgers and salads which we enjoyed in front of their fireplace.  - 7/29/2018

Great Place To Go In town on family business and stopped in a few times during the week.

The sandwiches, dinner specials and assortment of beers made it nice, without having to have the same thing, twice.

The place is an original building in town and looked great. A nice bar, high top tables in the bar area or two different dining rooms to choose from, if you'd like it quieter.

A can't miss place, right on the main drag.  - 4/21/2018

Dinner on the patio Second visit here and opted for the outdoor patio since it was a beautiful evening. Enjoyed some white wine. I ordered the Fargo burger and my husband ordered the special pork belly tacos. Both were delicious.  - 8/13/2018

Cool bar My husband and I had lunch at Fargo and sat out on the back patio. The service was great, and the food was very good. He had a burger while I ate a Caesar wrap. It’s a cool place to eat with its large bar and pool table. Loved the atmosphere!  - 7/13/2018

Fargo bar did not disappoint Dropped in for a late lunch and the bar was busy so we sat at the copper bar! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the south western salad with shrimp and my friend had wings. Both were great and lots to eat and drink. The decor and atmosphere were pleasing and the ambiance was that of a small town bar - great!  - 4/14/2018

Good Food - Small Town Comfortable A relative who lives locally took us to Fargo recently for lunch. It was a great choice. of course, Aurora itself is a delightful small village and well-worth a visit. Fargo is a totally informal place with a large bar in one room and a pleasant dining area in another. Lunch was excellent. If we lived locally, we would eat at Fargo often. If you are passing through Aurora, stop and enjoy the village and a meal at Fargo. You will have a good time.  - 6/16/2018
