Valentine’s Day is one our most favorite holidays to celebrate in Aurora, and especially in our dining room. Fresh red roses grace every table, the fireplaces glow with gentle warmth, and candlelight sets the stage for a romantic, memorable evening.

To mark this year as extra special, we’ve designed a week full of opportunities to spend time with your sweetheart:

Fried Chicken & Champagne Friday, February 9 — 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

What pairs better than fried chicken and champagne? Come enjoy a different high-end champagne pairing every Friday in February. We’ll pop the cork on some very special bubbly not typically available by the glass.

Surf & Turf Saturday, February 10 — 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Indulge in a celebratory and romantic meal. On this special night, we’ll feature beef tenderloin and poached lobster with lemon butter, together with potato gratin. We’ll have suggested wine pairings as well.

Sunday Supper Sunday, February 11 — 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Nothing is better than a sumptuous Sunday supper! Join us for braised lamb shank accompanied by Anson Mills polenta di Riso, winter greens, and gremolata.

Macaroon Monday Monday, February 12 — 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Delicate and colorful Macaroons are a quintessential French treat! We’ll be serving up a trio of flavors hand-made by Chef Patrick.

Chocolate Love Tuesday, February 13 — 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

We love chocolate, and we’ll be tripling the love this night with a trio of hand-made chocolate truffles.

Valentine’s Day Wednesday, February 14 — 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Our dining room’s special four-course dinner for two begins with a sparkling toast and is designed to inspire romance. Learn more.

Wine Down Thursday Thursday, February 15 — 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Every Thursday, most bottles on our wine list are half-priced. Indulge in a favorite standby, or use the opportunity to take a risk and dive into a new varietal or region–it’s all up to you. Wine Down Thursday selections excludes library wines and wines priced over $100 per bottle.

Jaffelin Wine Dinner Saturday, February 17 — 6:30 p.m.

The history of Jaffelin runs parallel to that of the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame. Over the centuries, the house cellars stored wines for the church, Dukes, Princes, and Kings. The Chapter House Cellars changed hands until the Jaffelin brothers established their wine merchant business there in 1816.
