Our Guests Say it Best

Superb stay!

We stayed at the original Aurora Inn and then at E.B. Morgan House. Both were spectacular. We were impressed by the service and caliber of the rooms, concierges, etc. Hiking trails were great; yoga classes plentiful; activities if you wanted… The spa was among the best we have ever visited around the world. We would 100% recommend a visit to Aurora.

Truly Lovely

This resort consists of is a number of small luxury mansions set within a lovely small town. The inns are gorgeous. Decorated with beautiful art and furnishings and all the modern amenities such as a quiet A/C, modern bathrooms, and very comfortable beds and bedding. There are lots of areas near the lake to sit and enjoy the quiet beauty—including fire pits with s’mores fixings at night. The inn also provides bicycles, canoes and kayaks for those interested. All in all a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. This place would be ideal for a wedding or a group retreat.

Five Stars

The inspiration for the renovation of the buildings which form the Inns of Aurora by a Wells College alumna, Pleasant Rowland (also founder of American Girl) is fascinating. The level of attention to detail, welcome, style, design, comfort and luxurious touches is outstanding. Together this made for a memorable long weekend stay. We ate at 1833 Kitchen & Bar as well as the Fargo—both, though very different experiences, were excellent.
