Our Guests Say it Best

Delightful Respite

Although the setting is elegant, the accommodations sublime, and the food exquisite, it was the remarkably personable staff that made our visit so successful and downright memorable! Each and every staff member we encountered, from the manager to the maintenance team, greeted us and took time to chat with us. The relationships we enjoyed throughout the various inns and spa were both personal and memorable, and that’s what will keep us coming back! Many thanks to you all for a delightful respite!

Peaceful Inn in a Beautiful Setting

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Aurora Inn. Our room was large and exceptionally comfortable with a chaise and a chair for reading, a desk, a gas fireplace, and five large, bright windows on two sides. Outside, we had a large balcony with two rocking chairs and a hanging bench swing with direct views to the lake. I was so impressed by the housekeeping. I set out three books on the bedside table and they tucked a bookmark in each with the turndown service our first night. Small touches like this make the difference between a very good hotel and an extraordinary one. The Aurora Inn falls in the latter category. The inn is in a small village and it offers quiet, relaxation, understated elegance, and kindness. It was a wonderful change from the bustle of city life.

Five Stars

The inspiration for the renovation of the buildings which form the Inns of Aurora by a Wells College alumna, Pleasant Rowland (also founder of American Girl) is fascinating. The level of attention to detail, welcome, style, design, comfort and luxurious touches is outstanding. Together this made for a memorable long weekend stay. We ate at 1833 Kitchen & Bar as well as the Fargo—both, though very different experiences, were excellent.

Best in the Finger Lakes

Best boutique hotel and spa experience in the Finger Lakes and Ithaca area. The service, food, location, and amenities/activities are all top notch. The description and pictures on their website are all accurate and they do deliver on everything they say in their website. If you are looking for some much needed self care and to just get away from it all, the Inns of Aurora is an excellent choice. Big thumbs up!
